THURSDAY SQUAD

The Memorial Services Detachment is made up of 5 squads, one for each day of the week (Monday-Friday). Each squad has an elected Squad Leader and Assistant Squad Leader. Members serve as flag bearers, riflemen, and buglers.

Thursday Squad Leader-Richard Mendoza

Richard joined MSD in 2022 and retired from the US Army as a Sergeant First Class.

Thursday Assistant Squad Leader-Steven McCray

Steven joined MSD in 2016 and retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant.
